Virlanie’s IGP in Whitespace’s Pop Up Bazaar

Need accents to amplify your OOTD? Pop it up with Virlanie’s IGP (Income Generating Products). Earrings? Necklaces? Bracelets? Bags and shirts? We have them!

Guided by IGP’s objectives to raise awareness about the Foundation’s advocacies, to sell items, and to attract new markets, Virlanie participated in the Pop Up Bazaar held at Whitespace, Makati City in in May 2015. It was an event in which local entrepreneurs provided customers with an alternative shopping experience.

The ambience was clean and cool. The people who visited were very friendly, and some were already familiar with Virlanie and have actually purchased items before. Fortunately, they loved them, so they bought our products again. Some of those who were not familiar with Virlanie were surprised to learn that the products are made of magazine pages and are made by the Virlanie children’s parents in Open Day Center and Mobile Unit. The bazaar also paved the way for Virlanie to connect with new people who might be interested in the products, as well as in Virlanie’s programs.

Bazaars like this may help the children and their families to earn from the beautifully handcrafted products they are making. So if you have events or bazaars coming up, we would love to be a part of them. Also, you are very welcome to come and visit the future bazaars we will be participating in. See you soon!
