3M Philippines celebrated National Children’s Month with Virlanie Foundation

Last November 26, 2021, Virlanie Foundation, Inc. together with 3M Philippines virtually celebrated the National Children’s Month. This year’s theme “New Normal na Walang Iwanan, Karapatan ng Bawat Bata Ating Tutukan.” 3M Philippines, Inc. is a global science company that never stops inventing. The virtual event highlighted the promotion of child’s right, create awareness and recognize the efforts of the children, staff, teachers, and 3M.

Various activities were conducted prior the virtual celebration. These include a BTS dance presentation choreographed by 3M volunteers, gardening and painting activity participated by residential homes of Virlanie, Science Experiment like Volcano Experiment, Exploding Can, Walking Rainbow and Milk and Color Experiment materials were provided by 3M Educ Team, and lastly, the Mural Painting using Post-It Notes. Voting was done via online through Facebook, the more likes and share. Elizabeth Home won the First Place followed by Masaya and Jade Home. All the recorded videos of the activities were shown in the event.

Mr. Darwin Florendo, Country Leader – Consumer Business Group 3M Philippines, Inc. gave a delightful message to all the attendees for giving 3M an opportunity to celebrate with Virlanie the Children’s month.
Indeed, the event was truly a momentous celebration for the children.
