3M Philippines has been supporting Virlanie Foundation since 1998 and it was a pleasure to finally meet their current Managing Director, Ramesh Ramadurai, on September 14th at the foundation. An update on the recent changes in Virlanie and a review of the partnership in the past decade was presented before they were guided for a tour of the facilities.
The group first stopped by the choir practice to hear the soothing harmonies from the children. They then proceeded to the Drop-In Center and the Babies & Toddler Home where the computer units they donated are now installed (for social workers and the staff of the medical team). The 3M team, in turn, shared the new Christmas project we are to anticipate which is an art contest.
Virlanie is grateful for the consistent support the 3M volunteers have extended to the children. Our congratulations on your 49th year as we look forward to more opportunities to collaborate and further our shared drive in giving back the smiles to street children.
