On the evening of March 17th, 2018, our very own Virlanie Voices entranced the 136 guests who attended their send-off concert, A Night of Music and Smiles, held at the College of Saint Benilde – School of Design and Arts Theater.
The choir performed their concert repertoire for their 4th European tour, and also performed a French song for the show’s finale. The guests also witnessed a performance by The Rising Youth whose moving performance of Kamalayan, a piece written by the youth as a collective poem of their experiences as street children, captured the hearts of the audience. Virlanie’s Executive Director, Mr. Thomas Mouliac; Deputy Executive Director, Mrs. Arlyne Fernandez; and Founder and President, Kuya Dominique Lemay, gave speeches about Virlanie, the choir, and what to watch out for in the coming months. It was indeed a magical night of music, and smiles for all!
