Virlanie Foundation celebrated International Women’s Day last March 8, 2022, with the street and community mothers at the Francois Volontaires – Philippines, a France volunteer organization.
Francois Volontaires-Philippines organized the event which aims to share with the partner organizations like Virlanie the different initiatives of women empowerment, gender equality, and different volunteer engagement.
Virlanie Foundation has been committed in this advocacy as seen in the Community, Street and Residential program and support services.
During the program, our Executive Director, Ms. Arlyne A. Fernandez gave a heart-warming message. She said, “I would like to make recognition to all the women who are here, our direct beneficiaries in the streets, in the community because even during the pandemic they never give up.”
Moreover, one of the highlights of the program is the video presentation for the women testimonies. Our mothers from the community and street also shared their stories.
