Reporting to the Grants Manager, the Program Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator supports the program team in monitoring and evaluating the programs and projects to adequately respond to the donor reporting requirements, and designs strategies to facilitate organizational learning in the area of M&E.
Responsibilities:
- Set up the Monitoring and Evaluation System in line with the KPIs based on approved grants
- Provide technical assistance and capacity building support to managers and leads on the operationalization of the M&E System
- Work closely with the program team to support in the program monitoring and evaluation. This is through field/department monitoring visits to ensure data quality and compliance on reporting
- Document the M&E best practices based on program experience
- Develop a strategy for identifying, analyzing, and disseminating the lessons learned within the program team
- Support the program team in ogranizing and facilitating program planning and learning meetings
- In coordination with the Grants Manager, prepare and submit project reoprts in compliance with the donor requirements
- Serves as liaison between the Grants Team and Project Team
- Provide assistance in project proposal development, specifically in the formulation of the results framework (logframe) and M&E framework
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science (or related experience)
- At least 3 years of experience working in development sector/non-profit organization
- Knowledge and/or experience in program monitoring and reporting
- Knowledge and/or experience in writing program reports
- Knowledge and/or experience in project management cycle
- Knowledge and experience in budget monitoring and financial reporting
- Familiarity on results based management principles and results-oriented reporting
