In celebration of the Department of Science and Technology – National Capital Region’s (DOST-NCR) 2023 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW) with the theme “Siyensya, Teknolohiya at Inobasyon: Kabalikat sa Matatag, Maginhawa at Panatag na Buhay,” they held a 2023 Stakeholders’ Night on August 31, 2023, at the SM Aura Premier, BGC, Taguig City to recognize its partners’ contributions in championing science, technology, and innovation of which Virlanie Foundation Inc. was one of the partners who received award and recognition.
Virlanie Foundation, Inc. has been a DOST-NCR partner organization through the implementation of the Community Empowerment through Science and Technology (CEST) highlighting its different livelihood programs implemented in Bagong Silangan. They also extend this honor to Barangay Bagong Silangan in Quezon City which received a plaque of recognition and a monetary grant of two hundred thousand pesos for being the BEST-CEST Barangay in the Regional level. Barangay Bagong Silangan is one of Virlanie’s adopted communities and the foundation is beyond grateful to witness the fruits of its efforts through its Community Program.
