National Children’s Month is an annual celebration in the Philippines dedicated to promoting the welfare and well-being of children. Virlanie Foundation joyfully joins the nation in celebrating National Children’s Month with a series of activities. The foundation’s commitment to nurture, educate, and empower these young lives has been more pronounced during this special month of recognition.
Virlanie’s Education Services led by Ms. Sofia Dolly Alejandro, Education Services Coordinator, organized unforgettable moments for the children. From exciting games to a spirited cheerleading competition, the celebration was a testament to the positive impact of collective support and the boundless potential that exists within each child. To break up the competition with a burst of variety, an intermission number featuring a special performance from Sibuhi Dance Group. This was followed by the recitation of the Panatang Makabata with Virlanie Foundation Executive Director Ms. Arlyne Fernandez. Children were also recognized and awarded for their participation and outstanding performance.
Another celebration was conducted by the Community Program on November 27, 2023, in Parola, Manila. The event was attended by children, dedicated staff, supportive mothers, and enthusiastic youth volunteers.
The youth officers led the activity from the games to the performances of the participants. As the highlight of the event, the children took center stage to showcase their talents. Dance routines, musical performances, and other talents filled the air with excitement and admiration.
The series of celebrations was a testament to the power of communal efforts in creating a positive and uplifting environment for the younger generation.
