Virlanie Voices sings for National Children’s Month celebrations

This National Children’s Month, the Virlanie Voices participated in various activities and events celebrating and advocating for the rights and welfare of all Filiipino children.

They opened the program for Child Rights Network’s art exhibit themed ‘Jus+ice Agenda for Children’ featuring artwork made by young people from their partner organizations, and represented all Filipino children as they sang the national anthem and doxology for the opening of the 17th Congress’ 3rd session last November 19, 2018 at the House of Representatives.

Our choir also participated in the 2018 State of the Children Address (SOCA) held at Circuit Makati held last November 26, 2018. The SOCA made way for the students of Makati to voice out their concerns and issues as students and children to the city mayor, Mar-Len Abigail “Abby” Binay. Mayor Abby Binay also gave an address on the achievements and programs implemented for children throughout 2018.
