Children from our Aime, Masaya, Tanglaw Homes, and Marco Polo Care Center celebrated Halloween at the Johnson & Johnson compound last October 25. They participated and enjoyed the different games prepared by Johnson & Johnson employees.

Sarap Cafeeling is an initiative launched by The Rising Youth - the Virlanie Young Adult Organization - to raise funds for Virlanie's Mobile Unit Programs.
From 3 pm until the end of the evening, SiBuHi became a real coffee shop and welcomed the everyone in an evening full of music, spoken poetry, inspirational talks, board games, raffles, and most specially, delicious food and amazing service from the Rising Youth members.
Last October 19, houseparents and caregivers were given a First Aid Training, focusing on infectious diseases, proper handwashing, and treatment of wounds and burns, at Virlanie’s Elizabeth Home.

Twenty-two (22) mothers and young women from Virlanie’s ILead Open Day Center for Education and Training (ODC-ET) Quiapo had completed their baking, cooking, sewing, and beauty care training. They are now ready for new beginnings as graduates.

Virlanie Foundation is one with the Child Rights Network (CRN) in its renewed efforts to lower the minimum age of criminal responsibility.
Last September 18 and 19, 2018, Virlanie children showcased their talents and skills on social entrepreneurship at the Likhaya Expo, set in the SiBuHi Center for Creativity and Development, at the ground floor of Virlanie’s headquarters.

Carlo Belmonte, 22, had lived in the shanties along Estero de Magdalena in Tondo, Manila with his family most of his life, carrying with him the dreams of lifting them up from poverty and out of the estero (canal).

During their homecoming concert titled "ARGENTUM: PAGBABALIK 2018" last September 22, the UP Manila Chorale turned over the €1,500 raised from their successful 9th European tour to Virlanie Foundation. The concert also includes a special performance from our very own Virlanie Voices.
