Giving Back The Smile to Street Children

Our Programs

Sustainability Projects

In order to minimize dependence on Virlanie's donors, the Foundation develops projects aimed at generating funds and offering new opportunities for beneficiaries to gain new skills while earning extra income in a professional way.

CRAFT A SMILE by Virlanie (CAS Virlanie)

VIRLANIE SOCIAL PROJECT (VSP)

CRAFT A SMILE by Virlanie

Craft A Smile by Virlanie (previously called Income Generating Program or IGP) is based on a social business model that aims to help the street mothers from Virlanie's Mobile Unit and Open Day Center, as well as some young adults of Virlanie, develop new skills and earn extra income from products sold. This project aims to raise funds for the Foundation in the long run.

Currently, the products being manufactured by the beneficiaries include eco-jewelry (earrings, necklaces, bracelets), decor, and bags.

ORGANIC FARM

ORGANIC FARM

ORGANIC FARM

A project currently being developed, this is an experimental project to allow special young adults from Aime Home and Jade Home to transfer to Bacolod City and take charge of Virlanie's farm under the supervision of their teachers and the home staff. Through chicken and fish farming, cultivation of vegetables and medicinal herbs, the farm is expected to provide revenue for the Foundation as the children develop new skills, earn an allowance, and above all, find a deeper meaning in their lives.

EMERGENCY PROJECT: BANGON PROBINSIYA

EMERGENCY PROJECT: BANGON PROBINSIYA
